Luxury Cat Lodge was founded by Jules dos Santos, an Animal Welfare Social Scientist, Qualified Veterinary Nurse and Cat Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience in animal care, welfare and behaviour. Jules has dedicated her career to improving feline welfare through clinical practice, education and advocacy. She has taught for the University of Southern Queensland, advised government on animal welfare matters, and formerly served as Boarding Director for the Pet Industry Association Australia.
